    USP Tear-Duct Direct Flow Intake System For Passat, CC, Tiguan 2.0TSI

    USP Motorsports is proud to offer a complete closed element air intake system for the 2.0T. After testing several designs, USP chose to go with a closed element intake system which is fed directly through the front grill of the vehicle.

    The mass air flow sensor is joined to a closed element carbon fiber canister filter. The canister filter does not just look good but also performs. Constructed of carbon fiber and incorporating a high flow air filter, this filter was the perfect choice.

    Finishing the intake off is USP’s patent-pending Tear-Duct. Not just a normal intake snorkel, the Tear-Duct has specifically been designed to allow maximum air into your engine.  As air enters the front of your vehicle it is captured and compressed at the Duct. As air moves through the Duct, it is further compressed by the “Tear Drop” design located at the rear of the duct. The “Tear Drop” not only compresses the air but also increases flow allowing more air to be pulled into the engine.

    Dyno testing yielded exception power results through-out the RPM range. Users can expect to see gains of 8-16 wheel horsepower and 10-16 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels. Modified vehicles will experience larger power gains.

    Your DSG transmission is equipped with a filter inside a fragile plastic housing. Unfortunately the plastic filter housing becomes brittle over time and often cracks during filter changes which are performed every 40,000 miles. Constructed of billet aluminum, the USP Cool Flow housing is far stronger than the factory plastic housing. Not only is the Cool Flow housing stronger, but it also incorporates cooling fins to cool the DSG fluid as it passes through the filter and housing. Installation is straight forward and requires no special tools. This is a must have for every DSG owner.

    USP Clutch Line & Metal Slave Conversion For Audi

    Your car's clutch system relies on hydraulics to engage and disengage. When you press on the clutch pedal, pressurized hydraulic fluid is transferred through the clutch line to the slave cylinder. From there, the slave cylinder engages or disengages the clutch pressure plate. The factory clutch line is made from rubber which significantly expands, especially when using an aftermarket clutch. This expansion can cause your clutch not properly disengage leading to difficulty changing gears and transmission damage. Likewise, the factory slave cylinder is constructed of plastic which over deteriorates and eventually fails.

    The USP Metal Slave Conversion replaces the factory clutch line with a reinforced stainless steel line. The USP line will not expand even under the most extreme conditions. The included USP Metal Slave Cylinder connects directly to the USP Clutch Line and replaces the factory plastic slave cylinder. This means your clutch will always properly disengage and you can experience smoother shifts. The USP Metal Slave Conversion is a direct replacement and connects direct to the clutch master cylinder.

The hatch may not open as shown in temperatures near or below freezing. Due to the increased shock pressure, the hatch will require more force to close than factory.

    From the factory Volkswagen did not equip the MK6 Jetta sedan with a hood strut.  Up until now, Jetta owners were left to suffer opening their hoods.  The owner would need to lift almost all the weight of the hood and then place the hood prop in place in order to keep the hood open.

    Well say good bye to heavy lifting and your hood prop! USP has designed a complete hood strut kit for the MK6 Jetta. Finally you can experience the ease and convenience of simply lifting your hood up and it staying up. No hood prop required. Simply pop your hood with the release inside your vehicle and lift up on the hood. The included hydraulic strut will assist the hood in opening, requiring less effort on your part. Once the hood is all the way open, the strut will keep the hood open. When it’s time to close your hood, simply push down on the hood firmly and the hood will close and lock.

    Each component in the kit was designed with longevity and quality in mind. A combination of stainless steel and zinc plated hardware is used to avoid corrosion while powder coated CNC bent brackets offer a sturdy platform for the gas shock. The gas shock is a key component of the kit. USP worked very closely with a German tier one aerospace supplier to create a smooth operating shock that will perform in all conditions.

    The USP hood strut kit is a complete kit with all components needed for installation. Basic hand tools are required and the installation can be performed in approximately 30 minutes following our step by step instructions.
