    Reduce body roll on your Audi with EuroCode’s ÜSS Adjustable Stabilizer Bar Set.  These swaybars are just part of a more comprehensive suspension system that includes endlinks and a drivetrain stabilizer bar.  Even on its own, this upgrade will vastly improve cornering and sharp maneuvering even in daily driving situations (on ramps, evasive lane change, canyon carving).

    Testing and Development:

    When EuroCode set out to develop the ÜSS system, we wanted to offer a product which would be superior to anything currently on the market. We took the H&R, Hotchkis, Stasis and Eibach bars, along with 3 of our prototypes to the track. After testing all those products (including our own) extensively, we finalized our bars and came up with a combination that basically leaves the competition in the dust.

    The spirit of our Überlegenes Stabilisatoren System (ÜSS) is derived from our highly successful B8 chassis product; however it was fully engineered from the ground up for the C7 chassis. The purpose of the Überlegenes Stabilisatoren System is to mitigate the body roll that is very common in the C7 chassis, allowing the vehicle to feel more stable under lateral acceleration. This reduction in body roll will afford greater tire contact patch, improved traction and driver confidence. 

    All C7 swaybar kits include the C7 rear fitment kit.

    The factory repair manual calls for the bolts securing your sway bar to be replaced. They do so because the stretch bolts are to be used only one time.  We provide these bolts as an option.

    Lowering the ride height on factory air suspension equipped cars alters the geometry of the control arm and may produce a slight misalignment of the end link. This includes S-Line model vehicles that have a lower ride height. To rectify this situation we include a fitment kit with every C7 swaybar set. We also recommend using this kit if you intend to set the rear sway bar to the stiffest setting regardless of ride height.

    EuroCode’s endlinks are the second part of EuroCode’s USS Stabilization system for the B8/B8.5 A4/S4/A5/S5/RS5, 8R Q5/SQ5 and C7 A6/A7/S6/S7/RS7 platforms, and is meant to be paired with our sway bars and Alu Kreuz drivetrain bar to work as a complete suspension system.  

    A very common question is whether or not you will feel this upgrade on the street versus the track, and our answer is simple: absolutely.  The stock links are made from rubber which is inferior to our endlink’s billet aluminum construction.  If you just upgrade your swaybars without the links, you put more pressure on the OEM unit and reduce the efficacy of your swaybars. With this product, the weakest link is removed. Our end links will allow you to fine tune your suspension, reduce the flex and fatigue that is prone with the factory rubber end links, and allow for the corner balancing of the suspension.

    The body of Eurocode’s ÜSS rear endlink is T6 billet aluminum with a clear type III hard anodize finish, laser engraved with Eurocode’s logo. Eurocode’s ÜSS rear end link contains a pair of replaceable spherical bearings with Teflon coated bearing races.

    The body of Eurocode’s ÜSS front adjustable end link is T6 billet aluminum with a clear type III hard anodize finish, laser engraved with Eurocode’s logo and features a threaded body to house the heim joints. The heim joints feature both left and right hand threads for ease of adjustability while on the car. Adjustability range is 155mm to 195mm.

    These end links are a motorsport item and do require maintenence. Overtime the bearings will wear and create noise. We offer rebuild kits for both our front endlinks and rear endlinks.

    Eurocode highly recommends rubber dust boots to protect and extend the life of the bearings.

    Audi C7/C7.5 Eurocode Alu Kreuz Drivetrain Stabilizer

    Eurocode Tuning's Alu Kreuz (pronounced kroitz) drivetrain stabilizer for the C7 chassis Audi's to include the A6, S6, A7, S7 and RS7. The Alu Kreuz replaces the factory multi piece drive train stabilizer with one solid, lightweight structural member to further stiffen the chassis and prevent unwanted suspension deflection. All 6 mounting points are secured to one single plane; the net result is sharper steering with a reduction in chassis flex.

    Who would benefit from the addition of the Alu Kreuz?  We feel that if you enjoy spirited driving, like to take the on ramps and off ramps of the highway a little quicker than you peers, enjoy a nice drive through the canyons (twisties), the occasional track day or high performance driving class or just want to run your car balls out on the road course, the Alu Kreuz is perfect for you.

    Testing:

    During our testing of the 2013 and up C7 chassis cars which are comprised of the Audi A6, S6, A7, S7 and RS7 we found that there was quite a bit of torsional flex coming from the factory subframe/engine carrier. This torsional flex produced what we felt to be incorrect steering sensitivity and response in all aspects of driving. To combat this unwanted characteristic, we did a thorough examination of the front suspension, chassis unibody, and the engine carrier/subframe. Our conclusion was that the OEM hollow steel drivetrain stabilizer underperformed.

    Design:

    The team at Eurocode set out to combat this torsional flex and decided to redesign the drivetrain stabilizer. Our first step was to analyze the material that the factory stabilizer was made up of and then create a load case scenario in which to test it under. We sent out a sample for materials testing and found the factory stabilizer to be made up of carbon steel with a density of 0.284 lb/in3, predominately hollow and stamped into shape. The OEM stabilizer is made up of nine separate pieces, and they are all welded together to form one single unit. Once all of this data was collected and loaded, our team set out with the goal of improving chassis rigidity and weight reduction. Our team found that a replacement stabilizer manufactured out of billet aluminum would accomplish our goals, so the next step was the design process.

    Our design process went through several revisions, with each version being loaded into computer modeling to test how it would stack up against the inferior OEM product; these revisions were also built and tested not only on the road, but as well as on a closed course with the feedback provided by a professional driver to the design engineers.

    The finished product, which we dub “Alu Kreuz”, is incredible. It features a one piece, billet 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum construction, type III hard anodized coating, and all necessary provisions to attach the OEM sound deadeners. It requires zero modification to the vehicle, and works perfectly with the OEM power steering cooler. The Alu Kreuz is also nearly two pounds lighter than the OEM brace and greatly improves chassis torsional rigidity. It looks amazing as well.

    Independent analysis was performed on the product and the conclusions were that in each of the pre set load case scenarios, the Alu Kreuz deflected less than the OEM stabilizer, carries less stress for a given applied load and the fatigue life of the product is greater than OEM.
