TSB gasket kit, oil system components, and required hardware MUST be installed when replacing turbochargers.
Audi’s original oil screen and check valve design is a known failure point and is the root cause of most turbo failures on the 4.0T platform.
Failure to address these issues during installation will result in repeat turbo failure.
